Description: 1. Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, recruiting firms and employee referrals.
2. Prepare and maintain employment records.
3. Support employee training programs by scheduling, tracking and evaluating training measures.
4. Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, interviews, and selection.
5. Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits and job or career opportunities in organizations.
6. Assist in HRIS implementation which will involve data entry and moderate problem solving skills.
7. Develop, plan, and deliver interview schedules and packets for on-site interviews.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of hiring and business needs.
9. Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
10. Handle moderately difficult problems.
11. Keep management abreast of progress and pending problems.
12. Perform special projects and tasks as required.
Requirements: 1. Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Labor relations or Organizational Development and having completed a minimum of one year of college.
2. An outstanding academic performer 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or equivalent academic requirement. Lower GPA considered if coupled with relevant experience.
3. Good problem solving experience.
4. Good oral and written communication skills.
5. Proven experience handling complex class room projects.
4. Working knowledge of office equipment (fax and copier).
5. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
6. Ability to work effectively with others.
