Description:Assists in the design and mgt of capital programs/policies, including the Venture MI Fund, 21st Cent inv program, Capital Access Program, Angel Tax incentive and direct investments made in MI venture capital firms. Builds/maintains relationships with private equity groups, comm banks, entrepreneurs and business dev support groups. Works w/MEDC Portfolio Mgrs in advising companies seeking venture backing and bank financing; and reviews business plans to make referrals to potential investors.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, and minimum 3-5 years related experience and/or training in business finance, venture investments, and/or government operations with exposure to complex legal contracts; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
