There are many ways to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Most of them involve some sort of liquid entertainment in a bar or pub. There will be plenty of opportunities for all of us to partake in those over the next week, but this isn't one of them. Not exactly.

This Friday at City Bird, which gets a solid thumbs up Model D-metromode stamp of approval, hosts  an exhibition of art works by Regina Pruss and Dave Lewinski, a photographer whose pictures appear weekly in our sister pub in Ann Arbor, Concentrate. Pruss will be showing off new jewelry from her Chain Chain Chained line, featuring good luck charms and chains for St. Patty’s Day.

Andy and Emily Linn opened City Bird last November, selling their own line of Detroit-themed housewares and accessories, vintage clothing and art.

Come say hey, hang out and buy some cool stuff. March 12, 6 - 9 p.m. City Bird is at 460 W. Canfield St. in Detroit's Midtown.
